WordPress is one of the most popular ways to build and manage a website. If your SMWS hosting plan includes WordPress tools, you can install it from your hosting dashboard in just a few steps.
Before you begin
Make sure:

Your hosting account is active

Your domain is connected to your hosting account, or you know where you want to install WordPress

You have access to cPanel
Steps to install WordPress

Log in to your SMWS client area.

Open your hosting service.

Click Login to cPanel.

Find the WordPress installer in cPanel.

Choose the domain where you want WordPress installed.

Enter your site details, such as site name and admin login information.

Click the install button to begin the setup.
Important installation choices
During setup, you may be asked to choose:

The domain or subdomain for the install

The install directory

Your WordPress admin username

Your WordPress admin password

Your site title

Your admin email address
After installation
Once WordPress is installed, you should be able to:

If your domain is still updating or not fully connected yet, WordPress may install correctly but the website may not be fully accessible until DNS finishes updating.
