How to Access cPanel

cPanel is your hosting control panel. It gives you access to your website files, email accounts, databases, and other hosting tools for your SMWS hosting account.

Steps to access cPanel

  1. Log in to your SMWS client area.

  2. Go to your active hosting service.

  3. Open the service details page.

  4. Click the Login to cPanel button.

You should be automatically logged in without needing to enter your cPanel username and password manually.

What you can do in cPanel

Inside cPanel, you can usually manage:

  • Website files

  • Email accounts

  • Databases

  • Domains and subdomains

  • WordPress tools

  • Backups and other hosting settings

If you cannot access cPanel

Check these common issues first:

  • Make sure your hosting account is active

  • Make sure you are logged into the correct client account

  • Confirm that the hosting service has been set up

  • Try again from the hosting service details page in your client area

If your website is not live yet

You may still be able to access cPanel even if your domain is not fully connected yet. cPanel access is tied to your hosting account, not just your live website.

Notes

For security and simplicity, the best way to access cPanel is through your SMWS client area instead of trying to log in directly through a separate cPanel URL.
